Twas the Night Before Christmas

Most of you will enjoy this poem Pat has given us several times but I wanted to make some comments about our business that I enjoy reflecting on over my forty years in Real Estate.   It is a very hard job but very rewarding profession.   You are helping people make the most important decision they will ever make in most of their lives.  I can tell you when I have third generations send their grandchildren to me I know I impacted their lives positively and they want the value they saw in Dennis Ledford to assist their grandchildren who the most important young people in their lives.

 

Take time to thank the Title Companies, the Lenders, the Appraisers, and all of the supporting groups that bring the sale and purchase together.   Promote your value and tell your transactions partner how much you value them.

 

I wanted to give one more shout out to all of those who have really helped with our Winter Clothing Drive. Here is the latest update:

It has been a HUGE success. Thank you KORD for announcing it on the radio advertising as well.

We are still taking donations at Coldwell Banker First Realtors until the 23^rd of December. All donations are being given to the Walla Walla YWCA and the Christian Aid Center.

Giving Thanks this Holiday Season

How many of us take the time to thank God for all the Blessings he bestows on us on a daily basis?  We need to do that.  All of us have issues that impact our daily lives, tough closings, bad appraisals, work requirements, and all of our other daily issues.

 

I am thankful for my wife, my family, and the members of my office family for all the gifts they give me on a daily  basis. You can always complain but if you take the time to think of  the wonderful times life would be so much better.  I am the first to admit that I pick at my wife a lot but if I take time to think of all she does for me I would be a happier man. Reflect when you first fell in love and before children, financial issues, and all other life struggles impact our lives and you will be happier about your relationship.

 

I am also very thankful that Coldwell Banker First Realtors is holding its first annual Winter Clothing Drive. Stephanie DeLay from our Property Management department has been working hard to advertise, promote and make this a huge success. The clothing drive is still going on now until the 23rd of December. All new and gently used donations are being given to the YWCA and the Christian Aid Center. Lets see if we can make it to 500 items before this is over! Thank you to all who have contributed!
