Short Fall Update

Fall is here. Leaves are turning and I had dew on the car and the grass.. Fall weather in Walla Walla is just wonderful and I am sure that is why they moved the Hot Air Balloon event to October. Just more stable conditions and less chance of cancellations. I love the fall.

img_2749Welcome to my new neighbor Passatempo Taverna. Jim German has it up and running. I had dinner there two weeks ago in their soft opening event and the food was affordable, very good, and the service was fantastic. If you have not been there you need to set a time to enjoy the location and the food. It will be so much fun.

The Mall is starting to move forward. I talked to the CEO and they might see some construction starting the end of this year. They have about 70 % of the junior tenants in place and still working on finalizing some major companies, but I feel it is moving ahead.    They are looking for a restaurant for the Rose Street pads. If you know of any give me a call at 509-520-2070.

The Real Estate market is still strong. Inventory is weak, but mortgage rates are still really good. Appraisals are coming in on a timely basis and to value. Rates will be going up soon after the election and time to act is now and get a lock on your rate for 60-90 days to help you protect a good rate into the New Year.

Support the events that we have that many communities our size just do not offer. Little Theater, Symphony, Whitman, Walla Walla University, and the Power House Theater. We need local support to keep these venues active.

Let me know if I can assist you with anything. Thank you Walla Walla for being such a generous community.
